All You Have To Is Breathe The Promises of God

I was in the car one day listening to music. A song came on called “Just Like the Air” by Donald Lawrence. The lyrics of this song struck me so hard to the point of tears. I listened to the song about three times and each time God was explaining and giving illumination about this word.

We make the walk in God so difficult for ourselves because we are constantly looking in the natural for answers when the answers from God are already there. We have to learn to activate our faith and reach for them. The way to activate our faith and to receive the  blessings is through his word. When you speak a word, The Word is considered light and light travels about 186,000 miles a second. So when we speak the word, faith is established and it is shot up to God. Now it is all a matter of time for it to come to pass.  In Isaiah 55:11 says that, “So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it”. No one likes to wait on God, but by experience, God timing is the perfect timing. In Hebrews 11:1 says that Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. What we are hoping for is the unseen will of God for us. When God doesn’t work fast enough, we put God’s method on hold and come up with our own. By doing that we miss out on the blessing to wait on God and add more confusion and pain to the situation by solving it ourselves. We believe we got the master plan.

The first line of the verse says: challenges of life have cause some not to believe.

It hard not to keep our eyes on the temporal because it is the things we naturally see than to focus our thoughts on the eternal. The eternal is the unseen. Well how you stay focus on something that you cannot see? That is where faith comes into place. It’s not for us to fully understand but to just do. I saw a status on Facebook that says, “Getting just a little frustrated with the temporary, but I have to remind myself that that’s just what it is: temporary”. And yes, frustration will come because what we are placing out faith in will not last. Isn’t it crazy that the things we do not see are eternal and the things we see will pass away? In 2 Corinthians 4:18 says “So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”  So what we are doing is persuading our soul that God will perform all of what He has promised to us.

Put their faith on pause and cause them simply not to breath.
Have you ever held you breath so long that you become light-headed? What happens when we don’t breathe?  What could be more natural than breathing? You might be amazed to learn that most people don’t know that breathing — an act that we do some 20,000 times each day — can deeply influence your health and happiness on many levels. Some proponents of deep breathing recognize the connection between stress and breathing as well. Do you know if you are breathing right? The proper circulation  in your body doesn’t take place. So in result we lose life and eventually die. That is what happens when we don’t take God at his word and just breathe. I believe the problem is that we don’t know what his word is saying. If we have the word hidden in our hearts, we should be able to pull out the word over our situations (Psalm 119:11).

We must labor everyday not to be deceived.
This goes back to having the Word hidden in your heart. How can that word be impressed in your heart if you don’t take the time to practice repetition with the Word? This is a day and night process we must take on (Joshua 1:8). We must understand the tactics of the enemy. This is a common strategy in the military to study how the enemy works. The enemy is out to kill, steal, and destroy (John 10:10). This truth is what gives such importance to our Lord’s warning that Satan is the father of lies (John 8:44), ever seeking to deceive us. What is our defense? To saturate our hearts in the truth of God’s Word. Only God’s inspired truth can protect us against the deceptions of the enemy. I believe that Satan’s primary weapon is the deception of thoughts that are placed in our minds. He causes our mind to wonder. Deceive means to cause to wander or roam from safety, truth or virtue.” That is why it is important to know in Matthew 4:4 says, “Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.” Hearing the word of God produces faith (Romans 10:17). Once you make up in your mind that God word never fails, that promise is engrafted in your heart.

Trust and never doubt the promise based on what you see.

Right now it may look horrible in your life and you say to yourself, “This cannot be the promises that God is talking about.” Oh but indeed! In 2 Corinthians 1: 4-7 says

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.  For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ,so also our comfort abounds through Christ. If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort.”

Paul in this chapter goes on and say we are under great pressure to a point where it is almost to hard to handle. But he says we believe God will deliver. The struggle is what we see (temporal) but the unseen (eternal) is the deliverance. We have to speak those things which be not as though they are already here (Romans 4:17).  Paul is able to speak the word of God into his future and we should be able to do the same.
