Overview
I applaud you for stepping out to know more about God and His word. This course will be challenging but achievable for all. This is more than a bible study but training you on how to study the bible.
As Disciples of Christ, it is important to know and understand the concept of scripture. We have been taught so many approaches to scripture and it still does not feel like it works. The goal of this course is to help those who have never read the bible or have not done any external research to understand the process of how we got the bible.

Raising Up Disciples
Before the disciples were released to become witnesses, they were in training with Jesus Christ learning the precepts, concepts, and ideologies of the Kingdom of God. In Matthew 28:18-20 says,
And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
If we commit ourselves to make disciples, His power and authority will always be with the church. Jesus had passed on the baton to his disciples before ascending to heaven and he gave us the assignment to make disciples.
